Looking for tips and answers for Friday Links? You can find them here:
Welcome to the weekend, everyone! I hope you made a fun row. I’m looking forward to spending a little more time with friends and family, and I don’t really care what we do as long as we’re together.
today NYT Relationships suggestions and answers are coming right away.
How to play the links
IN Relationships, you are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by finding the connections between them. Groups can be things like horror movie franchises, a type of verb, or rappers.
There is only one solution to each puzzle and you will have to be careful when it comes to words that can fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to help you see the connections between them.
Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in between, and the purple group is usually the hardest to figure out. The purple group often includes puns, so keep that in mind.
Choose four words that you think go together and press submit. If you make a guess and are incorrect, you will lose a life. If you’re close to making a correct set, you may see a message telling you that you’re just one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still have to figure out which one to switch.
If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today Relationships answers.

This is your last warning!

- Yellow group – biological building blocks (ATOM, CELL, MOLECULE, PROTEIN)

- Blue group – objects that are played as instruments (KON, saw, spoon, sink)
- Purple group — tag ____ (DOG, FREEZE, PHONE, PRICE)
No perfect game today, unfortunately, but my current winning streak has reached five games.
My first guess was way off. It was simply based on the fact that there were double letters in the middle of each word: FREEZE, RATTLE, BOTTLE and SPOON. I didn’t see anything that would go with PHONE, MOBILE and CEL, so I looked elsewhere.
WASHBOARD was my entry point to the blues, which I got on the first try despite the presence of RATTLE as a red herring. Next were the yellows, followed by the greens. I didn’t realize what the purple band was about before I sent those words, but hey, I didn’t have to.
That’s all there is for today Relationships data and response. Be sure to check my blog for tips and the solution for Sunday’s game if you need them.
PS Continuing from yesterday’s pop theme, here’s Wayne’s biggest hit Fountains of Wayne. “Stacy’s Mom” is catchy as hell. Adam Schlesinger sure knew how to write a perfect pop song.
